He is also a popular Film Producer, Director, Two Times National Award Winning Writer, Author of four books on Cinema, Winner of Three Awards at International Film Festivals, served as National Award Jury and Founder Director of BOFTA, Tamil Nadu’s Premiere Film Institute. G. Dhananjayan worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries and was the Producer or Co-Producer or Associate Producer for over 30 films in his two decades long experience. He is proud to have produced films like Poo, Abhiyum Naanum, Raman Thediya Seethai, Aval Peyar Tamilarasi, Kanden Kadhalai, Deiva Thirumagal, Vettai,Kalakalappu, Vazhakku Enn 18/9, Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, Ivan Veramathiri, Naan Sigappu Manithan, Sigaram Thodu, Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai, Irudhi Suttru and recently Kaatrin Mozhi in Tamil language. In Malayalam he is proud to have produced films like Kana Kanmani, Grand Master and Husbands in Goa. In Hindi, he was involved in the production of films Sankat City and Hide & Seek involving some fine talents.
G. Dhananjayan was also involved in the production of films like Anjaan, Mugamoodi, Thaandavam, Settai, Yatchan and recently Mr. Chandramouli. He is currently involved in the production of films Kabadaadari in Tamil and Kapatadhaari in Telugu in addition to four films with Actor Vijay Antony.
G. Dhananjayan is a successful distributor with films like Zero, Ivan Thanthiran, U Turn, Kolaigaran and recently Asuran. He is also an amateur actor, having acted in few films in special roles.
In Hindi, he was involved in the production of films Sankat City, Shaurya and Hide & Seek involving some fine talents.
