Script Consulting, Script Doctoring and Film Doctoring
Karundhel Rajesh is a screenwriter and a script consultant. He was working as an IT Consultant with various software companies such as AIG Insurance, IBM, ITC Infotech etc. before embarking on his film career. Even while he was working in IT, Karundhel Rajesh has worked in films like Soodhu Kavvum and Indru Netru Naalai. He quit his job in 2015 to embrace his passion, to enter in to films, full time.
Karundhel Rajesh has written four books about films. His first book, Thiraikkadhai ezudhalaam vaanga focused on the theories set by the father of screenwriting, Syd Field, and talked about developing a good screenplay for Tamil films. His second book, Cinema Rasanai was on film appreciation, his third book, Isaikka seyyum isai talked about 33 of the best musicians the world has seen and his latest book, Thiraikkadhai ennum Poonai was about the guidelines presented by the screenwriting guru Blake Snyder, and how to apply them to the Tamil film screenplay process.
In his blog – www.karundhel.com, Rajesh writes critical reviews of the films he watches. It also has his articles about screenwriting. Karundhel Rajesh was the course director for the screenplay department in Blue Ocean Film & Television Academy (BOFTA) – Chennai.
