R. Venkata Krishnan or Venkat Subha as he is popularly known is a media consultant for Film, Television and Digital industry with over 30 years’ experience. He is known for spotting and promoting many talents in media industry and is also a well-known actor in films and television. He started his career as a freelance reporter contributing to various Tamil magazines. He was then associated as Executive Producer for popular production company Amma Creations for over 10 years in many films including Chinna Maple, Rasaiyya, Manickam and Arvindhan. He was then in-charge of Duet Movies established by actor Prakash Raj and made films like Daya, Azhagiya Theeye, Kanda Naal Mudhal and Mozhi. He operated as CEO for Pyramid Saimira Limited in film distribution, production and exhibition for a few years. In the recent years, he gained further popularity with his contribution to the YouTube channel Touring Talkies run by veteran Producer Chitra Lakshman.
